Android weather app not updating robert pattinson dating katie
2x1 is more than enough for the actual data you show on that default widget. - Finally, while the little drawer on the details screen is cute, it's completely wasted space on my screen, since there's a big gap to let it expand out before you get the forecasts below. Deleted widget, went to add widget back and no weatherzone widgets to add? My large widget with clock wont update the current location – it is still showing my location from last night.
- As others have suggested, more widget sizes with more or less info would be nice. Either leave it fully expanded or get the elements below to reflow on expansion. If I load up either of the smaller widgets they detect where I am but the large one wont unless I delete it and replace it on the screen – but then it wont update locations after this no matter how many times I select 'current location' in the setup.
It would be much better if this all happened without interrupting the ui. Cheers, Ian @daverose79 – I am pretty sure that it is a limitation of Android that it wont allow developers to make their app "movable" to SD Card and also allow widgets to work. For instance, the most popular widget app in the world "Beautiful Widgets" does the same thing...
I dont mind seeing an older set of data as I am mainly interested in the forecast and not the current temp. The app only shows the current temperature for today. I usually use your website when out and about to check the radar etc... - Auto rotate screen, e.g when in radar so it make image larger EDIT: – A widget that looks like the htc sense (using your weather with there clock) Feedback to Weatherzone. I will be happy for someone to prove me wrong and give me an example or show me how it is done :) Guys,if you dont wanna see ads showing just install 'adfree' app.on market.
Looks pretty good..there are weather warnings is there an indicator on the widget ? - Warnings are coming in a future version of the free app- The Geo Location stuff is up to the handset as far as I know, we make a request to the device for a location and it determines it based on wifi/towers/gps. - Some customisation of widgets is also planned for the next version of free app.- I'll look into that Townsville radar issue and get it switched over. Yes we have a paid APP in in planning / early development with all those additional features you've all requested (and no adverts).- Taking up two extra columns just to display the weatherzone logo on the widget is serious overkill. The little degree symbol as an icon on the widget should be enough (obviously, as soon as you look at the full app, you get the full deal). Also, some apps have a facility where you can specify what time of day updates should be fetched, e.g. I can't see how to change the update frequency when you've set it once either.Good first start – and hey, it displays temps for me that Palmary Weather doesn't – but as others have pointed out, could do with some polishing.- It'd be nice to see a summary screen in the main app with the basic details of all the locations you might have loaded in a list view.
The app shows lots of promise, and I'm using it now, but it still feels rough around the edges and sometimes buggy. We've nailed a LOT of bugs in the past week and the test builds I'm playing with now are a LOT more responsive.
