On day five on my 20 minute drive to work and my 20 minute drive home from work, Sirius XM was saying "Updating Sirus XM...".
I know that you said you're not losing signal, but I thought it might be nice to know that if you cancel the subscription, those annoying error messages go away, even if you keep the XM Traffic component of the subscription. It seemed to have been my previous subscription that I brought over from my previous vehicle and the new 3 month free trial period that was causing the problem - Sirius XM denied anything on there side, but the dealership contacted them and the problem magically disappeared.I really don't want to go through all that crap again on another ,000 purchase!!!!! As soon as it was set, I received the "Subscription Updated? So I'm hoping this does it and I don't see problems anymore with this! So all the other messages are now gone except the "Subscription Updated?Press [Enter] to Continue." This happens 1-3 times per day - almost every time I start the car. They didn't realize that I had a subscription previously, so they had my trial reset. Dealership believes it's something with Sirius XM and the subsciption, Sirius XM says it's a hardware problem because I'm getting a signal.All the while, I was getting music from whatever channel I had on last, but I could not change the channel at all - not from the screen, the tuner know, nor the steering wheel button.The next morning, on my way to work I had "Sirius XM Start Up Error" After work I sat in my open air parking lot and did a refresh via Sirus XM online in my account. I called Sirus XM, they had me do the standard stuff (turn off my car, turn off my radio, change to FM, AM, turn the radio off and on, etc....). This took about 20 minutes on the phone with them - nothing.
